All Buttoned Up |
A style blog for the tweedy and erratic. I love leopard print and Alexander McQueen more than is probably normal. My own outfits can be found under this tag. My main blog is prologi. |
Blazer: Topshop
Top: Lindex
Jeans: JC
Shoes: Topshop
Ring: Modcloth
Oh, I’m sorry, I almost couldn’t hear you over how awesome my new blazer is. I was idly browsing the Topshop website, as you do, and saw the words ‘metallic animal print blazer’. I clicked so hard I’m surprised the mouse is still intact. I want to wear it all day every day.
Leopard print jacket and shoes, and there’s a matching belt under the shirt as well. I am in no way matchy and/or tacky.
(Sorry about the dismal picture quality; we’re entering that part of the year where ‘the sun’ is only a half-remembered myth from the olden times.)

Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Topshop
Shoes: Vagabond
Belt: Pieces
Watch: cheapie men’s one
This skirt doesn’t look all that short, but it really really is. Requires definite caution, but the colour is so amazing I don’t even care.
This wasn’t actually what I wore to work, because the weather turned out to be a bit chillier than I expected, and these shoes are too big, so they fall off constantly when worn with tights. What I actually wore:

Scarf, ring: H&M
Batman earrings: Some store in Tallinn
Shoes: Converse by Marimekko
Technically I’m wearing three different patterns again (if you only count the scarf as one, which is possibly a bit generous), because the shirt is subtly stripy.
Shirt: H&M
Skirt: Modcloth
Belt: came with a Topshop skirt
Tights: Lindex
Shoes: Converse by Marimekko
Bangle: thrifted
Ring: Forever 21
Well. It’s been a while. :P Mostly because I had a) a cold and b) exams, neither of which are exactly dressing-up occasions. After that I started my summer job. I’m too uncoordinated to take photos in the morning, and by the time I get home I always look rather worse for wear, so.
I’m wearing ALL THE PATTERNS. Admittedly one of them’s stripes, but still. I bought these shoes yesterday for a rather extortionate amount of money, but I’m so in love with them I don’t even care. Also: part 437 in the series Sarianna Wears Ridiculous Tights.
Blazer: H&M
Shirt: KappAhl
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: H&M
Jeans: H&M
Necklace: Lindex
Shoes: Tretorn
30 for 30: 10
Jesus, that’s a lot of H&M in one outfit.
This is, like, a masterclass in wearing all of your clothes at once. I love pairing this blazer with the leopard print belt, for no reason I can really recognise.
Jacket: Lindex
Shirt: KappAhl
Scarf: Alexander McQueen
Jeans: Lindex
Shoes: Tretorn
30 for 30: 9
A slightly more recent one this time. You can’t tell, but I’m wearing another long-sleeve shirt under the jacket, and two pairs of leggings under the jeans. It wasn’t enough, for the record.
This jacket is still about the most awesome thing I own.
Scarf: Alexander McQueen
Blazer: Lindex, boys’ department
Skirt: J Crew
Boots: thrifted
My penchant for ridiculous legwear, let me show you it. I think I’m wearing three pairs of tights here: thick nude ones, mostly opaque teal ones and lace ones on top. I only realised halfway through the day that over-knee boots plus lace tights plus miniskirt might read a bit, um, unprofessionally. Good thing I’m not a professional. :P The teal and blazer and scarf tone it down reasonably well, I think.
And yes, I am going to wear this scarf with everything ever.
Jacket: Lindex
Scarf: allegedly Alexander McQueen, via eBay
Jeans: H&M
Shoes: Tretorn
Damn, girl. Stand up straight.
Anyway. This jacket is almost weapons-grade awesome, but it’s kind of a lot of look to pull off. It’s very clearly inspired by Balmain, which was why I snapped it up the minute I saw it. This is just about the first time I’ve worn it.
These shoes are objectively pretty fugly, but I can’t help but like the functionalism. And the fact they’re waterproof - temperatures have been hovering around freezing, which means ice and puddles. Falling over is the new black, clearly.
