All Buttoned Up |
A style blog for the tweedy and erratic. I love leopard print and Alexander McQueen more than is probably normal. My own outfits can be found under this tag. My main blog is prologi. |
Blazer: Topshop
Top: Lindex
Jeans: JC
Shoes: Topshop
Ring: Modcloth
Oh, I’m sorry, I almost couldn’t hear you over how awesome my new blazer is. I was idly browsing the Topshop website, as you do, and saw the words ‘metallic animal print blazer’. I clicked so hard I’m surprised the mouse is still intact. I want to wear it all day every day.
Leopard print jacket and shoes, and there’s a matching belt under the shirt as well. I am in no way matchy and/or tacky.
(Sorry about the dismal picture quality; we’re entering that part of the year where ‘the sun’ is only a half-remembered myth from the olden times.)
Shirtdress: Monki
Jeans: JC Crocker
Shoes: Billi Bi (via Korkkari 37)
Belt: KappAhl
So normally I only post the one picture, but that eliminated after the first week on Top Model pose was too hilarious to resist.
Leopard! It’s admittedly A Lot Of Look, but I don’t even care. I’m not entirely sure how one should classify this particular garment - it’s the tiniest bit too short to wear as a dress, and cut really loosely. Also, my new shoes! They’re my tallest everyday pair and not exactly comfortable, but the blocky heel looks way shorter from pretty much every angle that isn’t side-on. They’re from a shop in Helsinki that sells nothing but discounted sample pairs in size 37. I’m usually a 36, but I can make booties etc. work.
Shirt: Lindex
Skirt: Modcloth
Shoes: Vagabond
Belt: H&M
Watch: Clas Ohlson, I think. Men’s, cheap.
So the ability to stick to it clearly isn’t my forte. :P I have a bunch of outfits I’ve taken pictures of but not posted, either because the pictures are terrible or I’ve just been too lazy to do the two-minute editing job.
Anyway! This is what I wore today. For the first time this year it was warm enough to forego the coat, which is quite exciting. (Okay, so it probably wasn’t warm enough for rolled-up sleeves, but I don’t even care.) It’s a simple outfit, but I really quite like it. Even if the offensively pink nail polish doesn’t quite match.
Blazer: H&M
Shirt: KappAhl
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: H&M
Jeans: H&M
Necklace: Lindex
Shoes: Tretorn
30 for 30: 10
Jesus, that’s a lot of H&M in one outfit.
This is, like, a masterclass in wearing all of your clothes at once. I love pairing this blazer with the leopard print belt, for no reason I can really recognise.
